On January 1, 2013, KaZaK Technologies was established as an unaffiliated small business from Plasan-US. Plasan-US had purchased KaZaK Composites in June, 2011. During the ensuing months KaZaK Composites was re-organized, re-focused and renamed to Plasan-US Defense Composite Structures (DCS). Mr. Mike McAleenan, KaZaK Composites Principle Investigator and Chief Engineer was selected to start KaZaK Technologies to continue working as a small business to design, develop and manufacture composite structural systems that solve customer problems in the military and non-military markets. KaZaK will continue to specialize in design and fabrication of high performance composite hardware tailored for production using low-cost automated manufacturing methods.
Mike McAleenan has a Boston University MS and 22+ years of commercial and military composite experience. Mike’s work history with General Dynamics’ subsidiaries Electric Boat and Bath Iron Works as well as 4 years of shop floor manufacturing experience working with Mark Lindsay Composites building IOR racing sailboats will provide analysis and manufacturing experience.
Ms. Mary Ann Partridge, KaZaK, Chief Analyst, has a MIT MS and over 32 years of commercial and military structural and composite analysis experience. Mary Ann’s work history with KaZaK Composites, Design Continuum and SatCon Technology Corporation provides analysis and structural optimization of concepts.
